This page explains what happens to the information you share when you sign up to be an early tester of Flyary. We keep this simple and collect as little as possible.

Flyary is operated by Ondrej Zajíc, based in Norway, who is the data controller responsible for your information. You can get in touch at ondra@flyary.app.

What we collect

When you fill in the early-tester form, we store:

Why we collect it

We use this to invite you to test the app, to email you about testing and the launch, and to understand what to build first. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Our legal basis for this is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the signup form. You can withdraw it at any time (see your rights below).

Where it's stored

Submissions are stored with Convex (the database) and emails are sent with Resend. Both are US-based services, so your data is transferred to and processed in the United States. These transfers are covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, as set out in each provider's data processing agreement. You can request a copy of these safeguards from us.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the site is used: how many people visit, and how the signup form is going (for example, how many who start it go on to finish). This helps us improve the page.

We run PostHog in cookieless mode, so it doesn't store cookies or other identifiers on your device, which is why you won't see a cookie banner. We never send your free-text note or the name of any app you mention to PostHog, only the multiple-choice answers and general usage. PostHog is a US-based service, so this data is transferred to and processed in the United States under the same safeguards described above.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for up to 24 months from when you sign up, after which it's deleted automatically. We'll delete it sooner if you ask.

Your rights

Under data protection law you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, email us at ondra@flyary.app. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
