Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026
These terms are the rules for using the Flyary app and website. By creating an account, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your information.
Who we are
Flyary is run by Ondrej Zajíc, based in Norway. You can reach us at ondra@flyary.app.
Your account
To use Flyary, you agree that:
- you are at least 13 years old;
- you will sign up with an email address that is yours and that you can access;
- you will have only one account, use it only for yourself, and not share it or create accounts for other people;
- you will keep your password secret and tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account.
You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tip: use a password you don't use anywhere else.
Using Flyary fairly
You must not:
- try to break into, overload or disrupt Flyary, or get at other people's data;
- use bots or scripts to copy data from Flyary, or misuse features like email forwarding (for example, by sending large amounts of unrelated email);
- get around the fair-use limits, for example by creating extra accounts;
- pretend to be someone else, or use a display name or profile photo that is offensive, hateful or sexual, or that you don't have the right to use;
- use Flyary for anything illegal.
To keep the service running for everyone, some features have fair-use limits, such as how many emails or searches you can use per day. We may adjust these over time.
If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account (see ending your account).
Your flights and your content
Your flights, display name and photo stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can run Flyary for you, including showing your statistics to the friends you add, as described in the Privacy Policy. We never sell your data.
Flight information may be wrong
Flight details in Flyary come from outside data providers and from an AI that reads the emails you forward. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and distances and statistics are estimates. Flyary is a log of your travels, not a travel tool: always check times, gates and changes with your airline.
The service
Flyary is free to use today. It's a young app that keeps changing: we may add, change or remove features, and it may sometimes be unavailable. If we ever add paid features, we'll tell you clearly first, and you'll never be charged without agreeing to it.
If we decide to shut Flyary down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice so you can export your flights.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Profile → Delete account), or ask us to. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Where we can, we'll tell you why first.
Our responsibility
We take reasonable care to keep Flyary running and your information safe. As far as the law allows, Flyary is provided "as is", and we aren't responsible for:
- missed flights, travel costs or other losses from relying on flight information in the app;
- problems caused by someone using your password, or by your own device or internet connection;
- events outside our reasonable control, such as outages at the services we rely on;
- indirect losses you couldn't have reasonably expected.
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it, for example for harm caused on purpose or through gross negligence. Nor does it reduce your rights under data protection or consumer law.
If you downloaded Flyary from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licence Agreement also applies.
Changes to these terms
If we make important changes, we'll tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before then. Smaller changes, like fixing wording, apply from the date at the top of this page.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protections the consumer laws of your own country give you. If something goes wrong, please email us first and we'll try to sort it out. You can also take a dispute to the courts where you live.
